Background
Queens Rosina China Co. Ltd, established in 1875, was a manufacturer of bone china, specializing in tea sets, and was known as Queen's Pottery from 1941 until its closure in 2002. The works, later known as Rosina China, were initially operated by George Warrilow Sons from 1889 to 1940.
Around 1941, the brothers Oswald & Derek Shufflebottom acquired the business, renaming it Rosina China Co. Ltd. Rosina China specialized in bone china tea sets.
In September 1987, Rosina China merged with Elizabethan Fine Bone China, and in January 1989, the merged companies became Crownford China Co. Ltd.
Queen's Pottery Rosina China works was known as Queen's Pottery from 1941 until closure in 2002.
